Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between "classic" and "skating"?
  • Classic cross-country skiing is done by following parallel tracks, allowing for a more stable and steady glide: perfect for beginners.
  • Skating, on the other hand, involves a skating motion similar to rollerblading or ice skating, requiring better balance and a more dynamic technique. Skating is generally faster and more demanding, while classic skiing offers a calmer, more controlled approach. That’s why having some experience with classic skiing can help reduce apprehension.
Which ski pass do I need for these lessons?
You will need a ski pass to access the Nordic area for this lesson (if you have the "Espace Diamant" Alpine ski pass, access to the Nordic area is included).
How many students are in each group for these lessons?
Our groups consist of up to 12 students, with a minimum of 4 required for the course to run. Depending on enrollment, groups may include both children and adults.
